Dr. Cohen is a licensed clinical psychologist who has worked many years in the field of mental health and substance abuse. Dr. Cohen’s specialties include crisis management, family dynamics, and bio-psychosocial assessments. Dr. Cohen assisted New Start Detox in becoming a licensed detoxification facility and stayed on as the Clinical Director. In March of 2015 Dr. Cohen was promoted to Program Director. She has thoroughly enjoyed watching the program grow into the detox that it is today. She believes that the reason for New Start’s continued success is the hard working and tireless dedication of the staff at New Start Detox.
